Well after a two-year absence from my usual Thailand excursions, I finally went back. I caught up with some of my old cronies and also met up in person with some that I've known only online. I have to say that this trip, as with all the others, was well worth it.

After checking into my hotel, showering and changing clothes, I went right to the wine loft for Cherry's event. It's a really cool place with an upstairs room where the TFers all were. The ladies were absolutely stunning and I think the guys and gals had been there a while already by the time I arrived. Shortly after some jokes, pictures and getting familiar with each other, we all headed over to det-5 for Jamie's birthday.

Det-5 is a pretty cool place to play pool, eat, drink and be merry. It has an outside area with lots of room as well as a roomy inside. I started putting away the alcohol pretty well and remember bits and pieces of the evening (actually, this is a theme throughout my Bangkok tour). I do remember a cake and singing happy birthday to Jamie and of course lots of hugs. I met a lot of cool people on my first night in BKK!

I believe we then went to the scratch dog club afterwards and I remember dancing just a little. I'll tell you something, the lady TFers were rocking the dance floor, and the guys were doing up the dance floor as well. I just remember having a complete blast with everybody and was glad to be there!

My memory at this point gets a little fuzzy, but I think a few of us guys (no names to protect the innocent) went to the Bossy club and got ourselves into a little fun trouble. Personally, I just remember waking up the next morning so you know I had a blast!

Anisa and I got together with Kus and Neung at Esplande around MRT station for some Vietnamese food at Miss Saigon's. It was good to see both of them again and they look better than ever! After some catching up, I had to head out to meet someone so we said our goodbyes.

On another evening, Anisa and I went over to the Londoner to meet with two TFers from years ago; Sunee and Chompatsorn. There was live music and the place was packed (probably because of the two for one drink offer). Afterwards we went to Gullivers for some more chitchat and laughs. It was really good to see both of these long time friends!

I had my event on Saturday at Det-5 and had a really good time! There were a few people that couldn't make it for one reason or another, but it was really good to hang with the people that did attend! We raffled off some foto books (congrats to the winners!) and Rob (Admin) along with his MC did a bang up job doing the raffles. I want to thank everyone who was able to make it!

Afterwards a bunch of us went to the Narcissus club. As mao as I was I can tell you there was some crazy dancing going on there! You guys rock, you really do!

Anisa and I went to Idar's event at RCA slim/flix. Man, this place is nuts! A number of clubs all playing different music and what seems like thousands of people partying. If you're a party person than this is a place to be. I had a good time and I hope the birthday girl did also!

I got invited over to Chris's (beej) condo, along with some other TFers, for what I can only call a smorgesboard of well-prepared food, lamb, pork, beef with all the trimmings. I'm going to take a wild guess here and say that beej and Pam probably have some chef training because the food was outstanding! There were a lot of laughs and a comfortable atmosphere for the bunch of us. Thank you Pam and Chris for a great evening!

I went to Route 66 for Neung's event and the place was rocking! There was a bunch of drinking going on and even more dancing. I met some really cool people and Neung is a sweetheart to say the least. A good time was certainly had by all!

Most mornings I could be found at Gulliver’s having my breakfast and playing pool with the regulars. I have a few good friends that work there, one of which is a waitress that is finally learning to play pool herself. We went to the pool place called, "A ball in the hand" on a few occasions, and another place on the same soi (soi 4). One time we went with her supervisor friend, Arndt and myself. Afterwards we all went to Hillary’s on soi 4 where they have live music. Man, we all had a complete blast that night!

I met my friend Paul and his girlfriend at Gazebo on Kao sarn RD, along with Anisa, Arndt and a lady friend of his who joined us later. It was great to catch up with him, but once the live music started, we really couldn't talk, as it was a bit loud. But we knew that we would have another time and place to catch up in the future.

I had some other good times also and met with way too many people to mention, but you know who you are and it was my pleasure! As many of you know, I had put the wrong phone number on my TF profile (yes, I'm an idiot!) and I feel sorry for the guy that kept getting calls asking for Bobbyboy lol. I also took down some phone numbers incorrectly (that idiot thing again) so there was a couple of people that I tried to call to meet up with, but kept getting either the wrong person or a message telling me that no such number exists. I apologize to those people and will try to make it up to you on my next trip.

Pictures can be viewed here thanks to Anisa, Tangwaa, Babe
